What is stopping you from buying your first or next home??

When I reflect on this year, and the historically LOW interest rates (lowest they've ever been), I wonder why more people aren't looking to purchase? What is keeping you from upgrading; moving into a space where you don't have to use your bedroom as a home office, too? Have you dreamed of having a space where your children can attend their virtual class that isn't the kitchen? Here's the deal: Mortgage rates dipped to their 14th record low of 2020 last week. The average 30-year fixed mortgage rate dropped to 2.71% from 2.72%, Freddie Mac said on 12/3/2020. That's down from 3.68% in the year-ago period. What have you been waiting for?

It is also an amazing time to sell, and for the same reason. Significantly low interest rates create more people wanting to purchase, but you have to have your house on the market to take advantage of all the new buyers! Do not miss this chance!

DO NOT HESITATE. According to Natalie Campisi of Forbes, experts predict mortgage rates will likely start to rise if the US government approves the Pfizer vaccine. "If the vaccine is approved, I would expect Treasury bond yields to move above 1% by 2021,” says John Lonski, markets economist at Moody’s Analytics. Ten-year yields are currently below 0.90%. “A vaccine will lead to an upturn in economic activity and business activity. Even if the Fed keeps the federal funds target in the current range, yields will rise, which means mortgage rates will, too.”

Now is a great time to buy. In fact, now is the BEST TIME TO BUY that I've seen in many years.
